'Tournament of the Nations' Multi-Ethnic Football Tournament

17 Mar

Kia ora team - some info below from Football South, have a chat to your teammates if you're keen (16+ age limit):

Dunedin Multi-Ethnic Council are holding a Race Relations Week (20th – 28th March) to celebrate the cultural diversity in our community. Football South are excited to be a part of this, and we will be hosting a ‘Tournament of the Nations’ 7v7 football tournament at Logan Park on the 28th of March.

This will be a great event to be involved in, and will be a good opportunity to have a kick around before the season starts. There is a focus on getting all ethnic communities and nationalities involved – you don’t have to be a part of a club, or enter a club team, to enter this tournament! All players must be 16+ years of age.

This will be held on Logan Park turf on the 28th of March, we will have food trucks and prizes and giveaways, as well as a fun day of football!

This is a great opportunity for all to be involved, whether it is to play football, or to come enjoy the diverse culture we have in Dunedin.
